Nickers' Gen-"E"-Vite

GEN-E-VITE uses dl alpha tocopheryl acetate, the most bio-active form of vitamin E. Each jar of Gen-E-Vite has a small scoop which provides 300 IU of vitamin E. Lasts up to four months. Many horse owners feed two, three or four scoops of Gen-E-Vite to ensure an adequate intake of vitamin E. CONTAINS NO SELENIUM.

Vitamin E is the most important antioxidant.

Vitamin E neutralizes the free radicals or oxidants that are generated by aerobic work. If you have performance horses in regular training or competition, supplementing vitamin E, at the rate of 300 to 600 IU per day, is advisable. For aerobic performance horses such as endurance and long-distance horses or horses that train hour after hour in the ring, up to 1,000 IU per day is recommended.
